Royal Caribbean has been upping the ante on cruise vacations for over 50 years. From building the biggest ships in the world with record-breaking thrills and the fastest internet at sea — to redefining beach days at their private destinations.

Each day brings new things to do, see and explore onboard. Like transformative venues, Tony Award®-winning Broadway productions, expansive accommodations, and a world of flavors from Italy to Wonderland.

And by night, Casino Royale is a slice of Vegas right at sea — with thousands of square feet of lights, action, slots and tables. And no matter how you play, it’s a win-win with competitive promotions, thrilling tournaments, and a rich rewards program.

Royal Caribbean Casino Program- Club Royale

Let's take a look at the Royal Caribbean's Casino Rewards Program, Club Royale. This exclusive membership allows players to enjoy promotions within the casino while onboard RCCL and attend Club Royale member's only events and, based on your casino play, and you could earn another cruise vacation! Club Royale Membership is free and is only available to ages 18+.

Now let's move on to the fun stuff... What benefits you earn with Club Royale!

Members use their SeaPass Card in the casino to earn points and redeem incredible prizes through the Casino Rewards Program. Benefits are based on a member's play in a Royal Caribbean Casino onboard the ship. To record points and tier credits correctly, each member is responsible for inserting their SeaPass card into a slot machine or presenting their SeaPass Card to a table game pit supervisor before playing (Put the card on the table with your cash when getting chips and a pit boss will track your play).

Remember, Club Royale points and tier credits can not be earned from free play.

A Club Royale Program year begins April 1st and ends March 31st the following year. Royal Caribbean Tier credits are used to determine a member's tier status within a program year. At the end of a program year, the credits reset to zero. If you earn an annual cruise certificate, it must be booked by March 31st. Club Royale points may only be redeemed towards Account Credit or free play on the same sailing which they were earned. Points cannot be redeemed on future sailings.

If you're a slot player, you just put your card into the machine. There's a banker option where you can withdraw directly from that card as well.

Last but not least, free drinks! The waiters will just bring them straight to you while you are playing. This is a great perk of booking through URComped. During your first Royal Caribbean sailing, players will need to earn PRIME status (2500 points) in order to keep these benefits on future cruises with Royal Caribbean.

How To Earn Points On Board

Club Royale

• Club Royale Rewards benefits are based on a Member’s expenditures for gaming play at participating Club Royale casinos with presentation or use of a Member’s Club Royale Account number. No Tier Credits or Club Royale Points are earned on free play or promotional offers.

• To ensure proper recording of Club Royale balances including, but not limited to, Tier Credits and Club Royale Points for gaming activity, each Member is responsible for properly inserting his/her SeaPass Card (which contains a link to the Member’s Club Royale account number) into a slot machine prior to play.

• To ensure proper recording of Club Royale balances including, but not limited to, Tier Credits table game activity, Members must present their SeaPass Card (which contains a link to the Member’s Club Royale account number) to a table games pit supervisor prior to table games play. Members must satisfy minimum betting requirements to earn Points, Tier Credits and other benefits for table games. Please see a table games pit supervisor onboard the Royal Caribbean International vessel for such assistance.

• A Member may not accrue Club Royale balances including, but not limited to, Tier Credits and Club Royale Points, “comps” or any other membership benefits if his/her Club Royale account number is used by another individual.

Receiving Offers From URComped
If I have a cruise booked with Royal Caribbean, can I also have a cruise booked with Celebrity?

The answer is YES. The only exception is if it's your very first trip with URComped, then you have to typically complete your first trip before you can book another trip. If you've taken a trip with URComped, you're verified as a player, then you can book a trip with Celebrity Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean simultaneously.

Does Royal Caribbean and Celebrity have the same play criteria for comps?

No, but it does depend on the market dynamics like in anything. There are different factors that could cause the price of a certain sailing to go down or up. Typically Celebrity cruises are a little more expensive and so criteria is a little bit higher. But sometimes, like when the Celebrity Edge first launched, we got some amazing offers. The criteria is pretty similar but Royal Caribbean is a little bit more aggressive.

Open
If you are a URComped member, will you receive offers from Royal Caribbean?

We don't want players to feel like they're missing out on offers so if you're a URComped customer, you have access to all of our offers, and all the Casino Royale offers. Part of the confusion comes from the fact that the Club Royale offers come through our website, instead of the Casino Royale website. Royal Caribbean gives us the criteria and has us market their offer for them. It is the exact same offers that are on their website, and there are some cases where we can even get the player a better offer.

Royal Caribbean is continuing developments on their end, so that URComped players will even see those offers Casino Royale's website. With that all being said.. You have all the offers available to you from Royal Caribbean and more!

You are in a better place because you're working with URComped.

How do I get onboard credit on my next cruise on Royal Caribbean?

In the past, you could book your next cruise onboard, but then if you were getting that sailing comped, the extra onboard credit that the next cruise would offer would disappear. That recently changed!

Now I recommend to go ahead and book the "Next Cruise" with your cruise offer and choose the "book later" option. So while onboard your next Royal Caribbean sailing, go to the "Next Cruise" office and book the cruise, BUT book it under the "book later" option. Then you put down a $200 deposit, then you have 2 months to pick your sailing. Then you will get up to $600 onboard credit as a perk for booking onboard.

During that 2 months' time, you have to choose your cruise and you can work with URComped. Look at your cruise certificate for some cruise options. URComped is going to receive your play ratings and we've got a whole bunch of other sailings that we can offer you and find the best option with the best comp for you. Plus you've got the onboard credit!

So again, in the past, you could not combine a casino offer with the perks for your next cruise, BUT NOW YOU CAN  by using the "book later" option onboard. You have two months to figure out exactly what cruise you want. And now you will have the onboard credit from putting the $200 deposit down with "Next Cruise."

How does Royal Up work? How do they decide who gets an upgraded cabin?

So let's say a Junior Suite is sold out on one sailing and people get an email that says "hey Royal Up bid on a Junior Suite."

Those Junior Suites may be currently sold out but Royal is covering themselves in case there are last-minute cancellations. Then when one of those Junior Suites is canceled, Royal Caribbean now has all these bids that are waiting. For example, a passenger in a balcony might bid $100 to upgrade to a Junior Suite. A passenger in an Oceanview bid $100 to upgrade to a balcony. A passenger in an inside paid $100 to upgrade to an ocean view. So if a Junior Suite cancels, rather than that cabin be empty, Royal Caribbean's got $300 lined up because they just bumped everybody up one cabin category due to that Royal Up.

Sometimes there is inventory and they just create a type of auction and whoever bids the highest gets that room.

With that being said, right now, the offers are really aggressive. If you're already booked, I would highly, highly recommend putting the lowest bid possible on the Royal Up, because then you've got an excellent shot of being moved up to that next cabin category.

Open
What happens if you get your Club Royale annual tier cruise certificate after the final payment date?

Specifically, with Royal Caribbean, we are not able to alter the price after final payment date. . So if it's not comped, there is a slim chance we can add another offer code/benefit to it, but we can definitely check and see if they'll work within it. If there's any offer that Royal Caribbean would be flexible on, we'd guess it's the annual tier benefit.

Requesting Drink Package for Royal Caribbean Reservation

Royal Caribbean is not able to comp or add drink packages for RCL reservations-- at most, they will add TTO Prime for players that qualify for this on the first sailing, and then Prime has to be earned by achieving 2500 points in the casino within the annual tier benefit year.

What do you do with points earned in Royal Caribbean's Casino?

Let's say you're racking up the points on Royal Caribbean trying to get a cruise certificate (Inside cabin= 2400 pts.) Not only do points earn you a cruise certificate, but they can do even more! There are 2 options:

You can either download them for credits on a slot machine, or you can see the casino host before the end of the cruise, and when they run the report on the last day, they will apply those points towards your folio. The value of the points is 2 cents per point when it comes to comp or slot dollars.

Can a husband and wife combine cruise certificates when booking with URComped or Next Cruise?

You can combine your casino certificates at the Next Cruise Desk, but they have to have the same sailings on them that you want to book. They don't always. So if you're trying to book the Harmony of the Seas, April 1, and your certificate has it, but your companion only has the Harmony of the Seas for April 7. It's going to default to whoever's certificate has the date you're trying to book. However, if your certificates have the same dates, they can be combined. But one thing to keep in mind is those certificates are capped at a junior suite level, so they cannot go any higher.
You can go down a certificate category if you want. Let's say you had a balcony and your travel buddy has a Jr. Suite. If the date you want is on the balcony certificate, your companion can drop a category and you can book two balcony cabins without paying. You also have an option to pay to upgrade.

If I win a substantial amount, what can I do about not having so much cash on hand?

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise Line will wire winnings of $9,000+ value to your bank. To wire the money, you need to bring your $9,000+ cash to the cage along with your bank account details (checks routing, account number, etc). This way you avoid the stress of carrying that much cash on you as well as having to deal with travel limits and reporting.

*It may take up to 2 weeks to finalize the wire.

How does "Next Cruise" and "Rack up the Rewards" work on Royal Caribbean if I am Comped by the casino/ URComped?

“Rack Up the Rewards” is a great program by Royal Caribbean that provides casino players who earn a certificate onboard with additional benefits on their next Royal Caribbean cruise. To receive those benefits, you need to make your reservation or do the “Pay Now Book Later” option at the NEXT CRUISE desk onboard the ship BEFORE you depart.

We recommend the “Pay Now, Book Later” option with Next Cruise, as oftentimes your play on the last day of the cruise will result in a better or higher certificate, which you can see in your Royal account portal within 48 hours after your sailing ends. With that being said, you don't have to have a physical certificate to go to the Next Cruise desk and do the “Pay Now, Book Later” option.
 Check your account at www.clubroyaloffers.com

If you do the “Pay Now, Book Later” option, you have 30 days (formerly 7 days) from the end of your cruise to choose a sailing on your certificate that you would like to book. If you don’t like any of the options on the certificate, your “Pay Now, Book Later” deposit can be used towards any cruise that you book within 12 months. (must book within 12 months or the deposit is lost)

Please keep in mind This is a promotion, not a card benefit. This promotion can vary by ship itinerary and may change monthly and discontinue at any time. Please note that a better or higher certificate is not an additional certificate and will replace the lower offer previously given.

Mariner of the Seas

Nice Cruise - First Time on the Mariner - Could use room updates/refreshing
Great Casino and Casino Bar staff were fantastic. The casino felt a bit small but clean and well kept. Nice selection of slot machines. Overall, the amenities and general public spaces were clean, comfortable, and looked newer. The rooms could definitely use some level of Refurbishment. The decor and design seems at least 20-30 years old and the beds are very hard (even with a topper). The staff and overall service were outstanding, especially in the specialty restaurants. The slot volumes were WAY too loud on some machines and became a bit annoying. Lastly, there's not a separate non-smoking casino and I noticed several people smoking on the non-smoking side. In the future, it would be nice to add a second separate non-smoking casino like some of the other ships.

Freedom of the Seas

Not really impressed
Not really impressed with the ship would like to be camped on an Oasis class or maybe even the icon class. If the casino was not set up very well, the chairs for the slots were not the right size to fit at most of the slot machines. They were packed in together at most times you couldn't get passed in a casino to move around. Also I bet for an upgraded cabin, which they told me. I my bed was accepted. However, they did not put me in an upgrade a cabin. They did refund my money, but I don't think that was handled properly.
