Margaritaville at Sea Islander

Loved the Jimmy Buffett music playing around the ship & the Speakeasy was a must for any parrot head! This is a good cruise for someone who hasn’t cruised a lot, but if you’re a frequent floater… you will be disappointed! Food options in buffet & Fins Dining are lacking (at best) no traditional steak options like other cruise lines (unless you pay additional) Purchased upgraded prime menu & drink pkg. Drink package was a disappointment- didn’t include any coffee selections from the coffee shop or any alcoholic coffee drinks. Loved the casino - it was empty most of the time & loved that it was non-smoking!! Waitstaff in casino wasn’t the best. For being empty, they stood around the bar & impossible getting drinks. Had to leave the slots & go to bar to get a drink. This boat needs upgrades- especially to the AC. Casino wasn’t really hot 2 nights. They had fans running, but even staff complained. Our room was hot!! They came to adjust it 2 times & was still hot. Other complained their rooms were too cold, so very mixed. If you’re use to normal cruise activities - this boat is lacking!! Not much to do, other than the casino. Great for relaxing, but boring at times & lived in the casino.. WiFi - spotting & frequently logged you in/out and only fix was guest services. Embarking with the express pass was phenomenal!! Highly recommend!!!!

Attractive and easy to navigate layout. Very comfortable room. Ari is an excellent room steward. Louis taught 3 easy to follow dance classes and has a great personality as well. Caio organized an excellent karaoke superstar program and we finalists very well treated. Attended a song and dance variety show and was very pleased. Food at the buffet could stand improvement; would like to have pork sausage at breakfast. Found the pizza excellent. Found the staff very helpful and caring.

We were very happy with staff the low-key vibe, room was clean, food was good, nothing at all to complain about except casino was lame.

This may have been my favorite cruise yet. Day 1, in the casino it was stressful. I’ve never been on a cruise before where you had to wait in line to get a separate card to play in the casino. The wait was long because it took 10-15 minutes per person to get their card. Other than that, the rest of the cruise was awesome. The staff was great. The ship is clean. The casino is not crowded. (There is no smoking in the casino. For me that is ok. I don’t smoke. My husband didn’t spend much time in the casino because he does smoke.)The casino staff came around often to chat, which I appreciated. I never had to wait long on a drink. There were plenty of servers. I definitely recommend Margaritaville at Sea, Islander.

Entertainment was very good. Drinks good. Food was fine. Casino I would rate a 3. Slots didn’t behave the way other ships or land slots do

This was our first time on MAS and we were pleasantly surprised. The casino was small but never overcrowded and fun. The pace of play was great as I play roulette and enjoy a nice pace. The machines were good too. We will be back.

Amazing trip, fantastic food and even better staff! One of the best cruises I've been on and I've done many different lines and service levels. Cant wait to go back even though I didn't strike it big...this time :)

We went into this Cruise with very low expectations based on reviews we’ve read in the past. We are Diamond on several other cruise lines and very seasoned cruisers. I will say we were very pleasantly surprised, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We did not meet one negative or unhappy employee of the cruise line. Margaritaville at Sea definitely does a great job meeting their marketing campaign. I felt relaxed from the moment I stepped on the ship. They all thoroughly seem to enjoy their jobs. They were very pleasant and helpful went out of their way to talk to you and not just answer your questions. We were quite happy with the food on board and that saying a lot because I’m a very picky eater. We did the steakhouse, the Champagne brunch, the main dining room, the cheeseburgers, the sushi, and the Mexican and loved every bit of it. My favorite part of the ship is that the casino was non-smoking. It definitely made for more of a pleasant experience in my opinion. I even won a pretty large jackpot. Large enough they took my picture with the giant check! Embarking and disembarking the ship was very easy. Our suite was very nice. I can’t wait to sail her again!

Amazing! Totally different vibe than any other ship! If you’re looking for prim and proper and organized gameplay forget it if you’re looking to get away have an incredible experience laid back friendly people to converse with this is right up your alley!!! Amazing short but fabulous trip! The casino had plenty of room to set and play even won a game or two!!!!
