Very Conveniently Located in Palm Beach County
You can’t beat the Port of Palm Beach for convenience when sailing. The embarkation and debarkation processes are smooth and hassle-free. Paradise was renovated just a few months ago and has much of what the larger ships have to offer. The casino was not crowded and is smoke-free. Beverage service while at the slots was his-or-miss. The casino host was very pleasant and helpful. The dining options were traditional, premium, and buffet. Variety of foods was ok.

Mediocre At Best
Lots of reviews to tell you whether to go on this cruise or not. We opted to try it out as I'm a life-long parrothead. The idea was great, but the Paradise is very old. Looking forward to trying out the newer, bigger ships. The staterooms can definitely use a facelift, but the rest of the ship was nice. Casino honestly sucked. Food was decent, but portion sized and, if you wanted more, you had to pay for it. The entire cruise seemed to nickel and dime you for everything. I had a comp balcony, but was downgraded to an Oceanview. Later, I found out I was comped Suites for this cruise, but URComped would not honor the suite comp since I was already booked. The entertainment was top notch.

Short and Sweet
I liked the fact that the ship was small and the service and crew were friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of activities available, and the shows were very good. The live music bands and singers were also very good. Lunch in the buffet and dinner was very good. We liked how the main dining room was organized and there were plenty of places for available seating. It was nice that there were quiet areas on the ship to read and relax. The cabin was bright and decorated in good taste with Margaritaville themes.

Margaritaville at Sea Casino- Players Club Loyalty Program and More!

In this special interview, URComped CEO Craig Shacklett sits down with Vince Lentini, VP of Casino for Margaritaville at Sea, to uncover everything casino players need to know about sailing with this tropical-themed cruise line. Vince dives into the exciting details of the new Players Club loyalty program, including the exclusive Tide Rollers benefit, how players can qualify for offers, and how to book future casino cruises. The conversation also touches on what makes Margaritaville at Sea unique, new ship renovations, casino perks, sports betting, and more. If you're a casino player looking to maximize your experience at sea, this interview is packed with valuable insights. Listen to podcast version here.

Topics Discussed:

Tell us about Margaritaville at Sea? Margaritaville at Sea launched its first ship, The Paradise, in 2022 from Palm Beach, Florida. In 2024, they added a second ship, The Islander, sailing out of Tampa. The cruise line focuses on delivering a laid-back, fun atmosphere aligned with the Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville brand. It offers short Bahamas trips and now longer itineraries to destinations like Mexico and (in the future) New Orleans.

What are the new itineraries like on Margaritaville at Sea Paradise?
Originally, The Paradise offered 2-night round trips to a single Bahamas port. Now, it's expanded to 4-day cruises that include sea days and stops like Nassau. There's also a 2025 itinerary planned with an overnight in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.

What is it like working for Margaritaville at Sea? Vince Lentini, coming from a land-based casino background, praised the passionate and growth-driven culture of the team. He emphasized the brand's appeal and the commitment of staff to providing great guest experiences.

Discuss the new Players Club Loyalty Program on Margaritaville at Sea? Launching July 1st, the program features four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. It aims to be the most rewarding program at sea with low thresholds and strong benefits. Guests are already earning points toward their tier.

What is the Tide Rollers benefit? Exclusive to Platinum tier players, "Tide Rollers" lets high-tier members comp their friends with certificates for free balcony rooms. It's a way for players to feel like VIPs and share the experience.

How to book future casino offers with Margaritaville at Sea? Guests can: - Book future cruises onboard through casino hosts (now trained on the booking system) - Contact URComped after receiving mail offers - Work with URComped for rebooking and to ensure proper tier/offer access

Amazing staff !
Cruise was pleasant for a short trip to Bahamas. Tables are slow in the higher limits but the $15 6/5 BJ seemed always full if you play lower limits . I did play alone quite often on the higher limit BJ Table due to 3/2 BJ . Dealers super friendly staff Is amazing throughout the ship. Rooms Clean Food great for dinners but buffet needs Help ! Do not purchase the blender amd upgrade to a double for there frozen drinks as they just double alcohol or maybe triple and it's just as taking a shot after shot after shot . Regular drinks are ok But some need some work. Wife hit a jackpot for $1500.00 I was murdered at the tables ;) I would reccomend over a night out in a resort. We received a free cruise certificate at the end of our cruise so that's a plus ➕️

Cruise was great, casino not so much.
The ship is small and older but is well taken care of and clean. The entertainment and crew are awesome! The casino is very small, several machines were out of order on the ship. Also, the new casino program is interesting. I played about the equivalent of about 4,000 points (all slots) on Carnival and only earned 10 points on the trip. To move even into the silver tier of their program you would have to be prepared to lose well north of 5k a year (considering the perks - not a great value). Had a few small jackpots over the two nights. Overall had a great time on the trip, just don't expect much out of the casino.
